We recover files from Windows PCs, Macs, Linux computers, external drives, and many other common storage devices. If the computer itself no longer works, we may still be able to access the drive and recover the files directly.
Deleted & formatted files
Accidentally deleting files or formatting a drive doesn’t always mean the data is gone for good. In many cases, recovery is possible, especially if the device hasn’t been used much since the files were lost.
Failing drives
Clicking, unusual noises, and drives that repeatedly disconnect can point to physical failure. Recovery is sometimes possible, but the odds decrease the longer a failing drive continues to run. We’ll give you an honest assessment before you spend money on recovery work.
Backup after recovery
Getting the files back solves the immediate problem. We can also help set up an automatic backup or other storage solution so one failed drive doesn’t put everything at risk again.
A few limitations
Thumb drives and SD cards are generally limited to straightforward deleted-file or accidental-format recovery.
Some physically damaged drives require specialized clean-room recovery that we don’t perform in-house. We’ll let you know if that’s the case and refer you to one of our trusted partners.
